Carpenter Pond Pipeline

Carpenter Pond Pipeline

Thornton, Colorado

The Carpenter Pond Pipeline consisted of approximately 1,100 feet of gravity 12-inch diameter PVC pipe placed parallel and beneath an existing paved residential street by horizontal directional drilling techniques.

The pipe alignment was guided between existing utilities within the street. The pipe is used to direct water from an irrigation ditch to the City of Thornton’s recreational pond.

Deere & Ault Conultants, Inc. prepared the construction plans, coordinated utility locations, and provided construction related engineering services during pipe installation.

Client:  City of Thornton
