Plumb Ditch Extension Greeley, Colorado
New ditch construction on the Plumb Ditch east of Greeley, Colorado was
completed during the summer of 2007.
Construction of new turnout and bridge
This work included construction of 2,600 feet of new ditch, as well as new
turnouts and measuring devices on the existing ditch. Because construction
occurred during the normal operating season, bypasses routing the live ditch
around the work areas were designed and constructed.
Structures designed included concrete box culverts beneath road crossings,
concrete diversion structures, Parshall and long-throated flumes, undershot
and overtopping control gates.
