Bass River Marina West Dennis, Massachusetts Deere & Ault Consultants, Inc. conducted the geotechnical exploration
program, designed the sheeting requirements, determined the anchor loads, and
oversaw the anchor testing during construction.
The project includes the following features:
New anchored and cantilevered bulkhead.
Maximum bulkhead height is 14 feet (exposed wall height, i.e. grade to mudline).
A Single row of helical soil anchors with a 50 kip design load.
Depending on location the anchors are on 4.4 to 10.8 foot centers.
Testing included; pre-installation performance testing and proof testing.
